Sarah Behn arrived at Foxborough High School as a three-sport standout – and left as a legend. On the basketball court, she set the Massachusetts state scoring record with 2,562 career points, a mark that still ranks in the top-10 in MIAA history. She was named the Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior and earned All-American honors in both basketball and soccer.

On the soccer field, Sarah was the starting goalkeeper on the 1987 State Championship team, finishing her career with 50 shutouts and All-American recognition. She led the softball team in batting her junior and senior years – a complete athlete .

By the time she graduated, she had rewritten the record books entirely. Sarah finished as the all-time leading scorer in Big East history – men or women – with 2,523 career points, and remains the only four-time All-American in BC history. Sports Illustrated named her one of the Top 10 Athletes in Boston College history.

In 1998 she was inducted into the Boston College Athletic Hall of Fame, and in 2003 her No. 33 jersey was raised to the Conte Forum rafters – the first female athlete in BC history to have her jersey retired.
