Jack McGahan

Coach Jack McGahan was a three-year varsity athlete in both football and basketball at Moses Brown School. On the football field, he earned All-Division honors, led the team in touchdowns as a junior, and was named Offensive Player of the Year while serving as a senior captain. He later earned his business degree from Fairfield University. For the past five summers, Jack has coached and directed at Behn Basketball Camp and now works full-time with the Hurricanes. The son of legendary coach Sarah Behn, he blends her teaching style with his own leadership to create an impact on today’s players.

JOE McGahan

Coach Joe McGahan was a three-year varsity football player at Moses Brown School, where he earned All-Division honors, was named Team MVP, and served as a senior captain. He was also a member of the basketball program before continuing his football career at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, competing at the Division III level. For the past five summers, Joe has been a camp coach and director with Behn Basketball Camp and now works full-time with the Hurricanes. The son of and former player for Sarah Behn, he combines his competitive football background with her proven teaching style to bring a unique perspective to the court.

BRANDON WOOTEN

Coach Brandon Wooten played basketball at Norwell High School, graduating in 2008, before moving on to play Division II basketball at Assumption College, where he graduated in 2012. He coached as the head Boys’ JV coach and an assistant varsity coach at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School from 2022-2024, and is coaching the Xaverian Varsity Boys Basketball team this winter as an assistant. Since 2015, Brandon has also worked as a private and youth trainer at the Quincy YMCA, where he focuses on helping players sharpen their skills and build confidence.

yARA fAWAZ

Coach Yara Fawaz grew up in Foxboro with a lifelong passion for sports and leadership. She played three years of varsity basketball at Foxboro High, serving as captain her senior year, before moving on to play Division I soccer at Stonehill College, where she was also a senior captain. She has several years of coaching experience at Sarah Behn Basketball Camps, where she focused on helping young athletes grow in skill and confidence. Yara is excited to work with the Hurricanes’ 4th grade girls’ team this season.

BrendAn bUTLER

Coach Brendan Butler began his basketball journey in Weymouth, Massachusetts, where he earned a spot as a captain at Weymouth High School. After high school he briefly played at Massasoit Community College before moving to Ireland, competing for I.T. Carlow’s college team and National League team against top players from Ireland and abroad. Brendan has since coached and directed Behn Camps, run his own camps in both the U.S. and Ireland, served as a varsity assistant for the boys at Lexington Christian Academy, and is now a varsity assistant with the girls’ program at Archbishop Williams High School.

Evan Woicik

Coach Evan Woicik was an All-State basketball player in Connecticut before continuing his career at Emmanuel College. Alongside basketball, he has built a coaching résumé that includes varsity basketball, soccer, and track and field, and he currently serves as the Assistant Jumps Coach for Bryant University’s Division I track and field program. He also runs a private training business that focuses on strength, speed, and athletic development. Known for emphasizing consistency, discipline, and resilience, Evan works to help athletes embrace challenges and grow into leaders on and off the court.

Sean McInnis

Coach Sean McInnis is the current Girls’ Varsity Head Coach at Walpole High School and a veteran of both coaching and athletic administration. A graduate of Wakefield High School, he went on to attend SUNY Albany and later Norwich University. Over the course of his career, Sean has coached both boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball at King Philip, Weston, and Wakefield High Schools, including coaching future NBA player Jake Layman at King Philip. Well-versed in the recruiting process from Division I through Division III, he provides athletes and families with valuable insight into the college landscape. In addition, he has served as Athletic Director at Triton Regional and Norwell High Schools, giving him a broad perspective on how programs succeed.

Kaitlyn Rea

Coach Kaitlyn Rea is a former three-sport varsity athlete at Mansfield High School, where she set school records in both basketball steals and the 300 hurdles. She went on to play basketball and soccer at Framingham State University, serving as captain in both sports while competing all four years. After college, she began her coaching career at Canton High School in basketball and at Mansfield High School in soccer before relocating out of state. Kaitlyn has also coached AAU basketball with the Swarm program, and is stoked to be coaching with the Hurricanes this fall.

SAwyer Smith

Coach Sawyer Smith grew up playing basketball in Kentucky, competing for several AAU programs before starring on the varsity team at South Laurel High School. With a strong passion for player development, he went on to serve as a Graduate Assistant for the men’s basketball program at Rhodes College, working under Steven “Zo” Goodson and Jim Duncan. In that role, he gained experience leading individual workouts, designing practice plans, performing statistical analysis, and overseeing team operations such as travel and logistics. Now with the Hurricanes, Coach Smith looks forward to creating a strong culture while sharpening players’ fundamentals.

Stacy Bilodeau

Coach Stacy Bilodeau served as the Varsity Head Coach for Walpole High School girls’ basketball from 2002 to 2011 before moving to the collegiate level as an assistant coach at Wheaton College during the 2012–2013 season. From 2013 to 2016, she led the Bellingham High School girls’ varsity basketball team as head coach. She has also worked extensively in youth basketball, including coaching 4th grade girls with Dana Barros AAU and coaching 4th and 5th grade girls with MetroWest Basketball.

Erin DeSimone

Coach Erin DeSimone brings experience as both a player and coach. A member of Foxboro High School’s first Girls’ State Championship basketball team in 1995, she began her coaching career in 2001 as an assistant for the Foxboro girls’ varsity team. In 2003, she joined Lesley University as an assistant before becoming the varsity girls’ head coach at Canton High School in 2005. Outside of basketball, she has taught Visual Arts in the Brockton Public Schools for 20 years. Today, she remains active in youth basketball, coaching her daughters in the MetroWest Youth Basketball League for the King Philip Basketball Association, where she also serves as a board member. Her approach emphasizes balancing teamwork, competitiveness, focus, and fun.

Allison Piantedosi

Coach Allison Piantedosi was inducted into the Oliver Ames Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010 for her accomplishments in basketball, field hockey, and softball, earning First Team All-Hockomock honors in all three sports. She continued her basketball career at Suffolk University from 2001–2005, where she scored over 1,000 points and earned First Team All-GNAC honors in 2004–05 and Second Team honors in 2003–04. She still ranks among Suffolk’s all-time leaders in nine categories. Following her playing career, she served as the Assistant JV and Freshman Boys’ Basketball Coach at Waltham High School and has coached eight seasons with Easton Youth Basketball. Allison credits her versatility to an early lesson from her mother — learning to play all five positions — a philosophy that continues to shape her approach to coaching.

sean skorohod

Coach Sean Skorohod is the Assistant Head Coach for the Girls Varsity Basketball Team at Cardinal Spellman High School. He previously served as the Assistant Head Coach for the Cardinal Spellman boys’ varsity lacrosse team beginning in 2013. In addition to his lacrosse experience, he has built a strong and diverse basketball résumé, including three years coaching girls’ AAU, two years with St. Bridget School’s junior high girls’ travel team, and four years with St. Bridget School’s junior high boys’ travel team. He also coached the Bridgewater Youth Basketball Association’s girls’ travel team for three seasons.

Coach Skorohod’s multi-sport coaching background provides him with a versatile, well-rounded approach to developing athletes both on and off the court.

derek Smith

Coach Derek Smith, a North Attleborough native and graduate of the Class of 2001, has been deeply involved in local basketball for more than a decade. A three-sport athlete in high school, he returned to his hometown to coach, serving as the North Attleboro High School Varsity Boys’ Head Coach from 2023–2025 after four years as the varsity assistant. His coaching résumé also includes two years as the Varsity Girls’ Assistant Coach at Ashland High School and three years in the same role at North Attleboro. On the AAU circuit, he has coached with BCRI, MetroWest Swarm, and Sims, gaining a wide range of experience across age groups and competition levels. His approach reflects both his Big Red pride and his commitment to helping athletes succeed.

Noreen Keenan

Coach Noreen Keenan played her high school basketball at Fontbonne Academy before going on to Suffolk University, where she was a standout from 1993–1996. During the 1995–96 season, she scored her 1,000th point and was later inducted into Suffolk’s Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011. After college, she coached volleyball, basketball, and softball at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham for four years. Once raising her family, she shifted focus to youth basketball, coaching her daughter’s travel team, serving as President of Weymouth Girls Basketball, and running the instructional program for K–3 girls for more than a decade. Most recently, she coached with the Lady Rivals AAU program, continuing her long-standing dedication to growing the game for young athletes.

rich Staffiere

Coach Rich Staffiere was a standout player at Norwood High School, where he captained the basketball team his senior year. He went on to compete at the collegiate level for Framingham State University, earning All-Conference honors in both his junior and senior seasons. Now on the sidelines with the Hurricanes, he is eager to lead the 4th grade boys’ team and share his love of the game with the next generation of players.

Adrian Masone

Coach Adrian Masone grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, where he developed his love for basketball. He later attended Babson College, which brought him to the Greater Boston area. Over the past decade, he has coached at the youth level in Metrowest, in the Bay State Conference at both JV and varsity levels, and at various camps and clinics. He now lives in Walpole, where he is an assistant coach for the varsity program.

Jamie Kelley

Coach Jamie Kelley is a 30-year veteran with Behn Basketball and one of the program’s longest-tenured directors. A captain and standout guard at Foxboro High School, she helped lead her team to a state championship before earning a full Division II scholarship at Assumption College. Following her playing career, she coached collegiately at Framingham State, Franklin Pierce, and UMass Lowell, and also at the high school level with Foxboro varsity basketball. Her decades on the sidelines have made her a respected leader and mentor within the Hurricanes program.

Angela Green

Coach Angela Green is the head coach of the Whitinsville Christian girls’ middle school basketball team and serves as Vice President of Uxbridge Youth Field Hockey. A three-sport athlete at King Philip Regional High School (Class of 2006), she captained both the basketball and softball teams before competing in basketball and softball at Westfield State and Suffolk University. Her coaching background includes Uxbridge Youth Basketball, Hecla Hoops, Worcester United Club Field Hockey, and numerous local camps and clinics.

Dee King

Coach Dee King is a 2001 graduate of Framingham High School, where she captained the basketball team. She went on to Trinity College, serving as a two-year captain and earning Team MVP honors before graduating in 2006. From 2008–2011, she was the Varsity Girls’ Basketball Head Coach at Ashland High School, where she was named Boston Herald Coach of the Year. She then returned to her alma mater to coach the varsity girls’ program at Framingham from 2011–2014. In addition, she has been a leader in education, serving as School Counselor and Director of School Counseling at Hopkinton High School since 2009 and as Athletic Director from 2015–2019.

eRIN CONNOR

Coach Erin Connor is a Certified Mental Performance Mastery Coach and the owner of Edge UP Mental Performance Training, where she helps athletes build mental toughness, confidence, and resilience. A former college athlete herself, she understands the challenges players face in overcoming adversity, mistakes, and pressure. She has worked with teams and athletes from Division I colleges and high schools, as well as various training facilities and programs, delivering tailored training to strengthen confidence and focus. Erin also holds dual master’s degrees in Business and Accounting, giving her a disciplined and strategic approach to her work. Outside of her professional life, she is a proud mom of four athletes and the wife of a firefighter/paramedic. She is currently authoring Bet On YOU Mentality, a journal to help athletes build self-belief and resilience.

Adriana Timberlake

Coach Adriana is a two-time state champion point guard from Braintree, MA, who went on to play at Southern New Hampshire University. At SNHU, she was a two-year captain, two-time Player of the Year, All-American, 1,000-point scorer, and remains the program’s three-point record holder. She now serves as the assistant coach for the Braintree High School varsity team, and works with the Hurricanes program across multiple teams in Braintree. 

Ali Brigham

Coach Ali Brigham is a standout post player who enjoyed a decorated college career across George Washington, Penn State, and Bryant University. At George Washington, she led the team in scoring as a freshman, earning Atlantic 10 All-Rookie honors. She then became a consistent contributor at Penn State, starting 59 games over three seasons and earning Academic All-Big Ten and Academic All-District recognition twice. At Bryant, Brigham capped her career with nine double-digit scoring games, a 29-point performance at Binghamton, and a top-two finish in the America East in blocks per game. A Franklin High School graduate, she remains the school’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder with 1,692 points and 1,276 rebounds, and was a Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year finalist.

Emma Hume

Emma Hume is a two-time State Champion basketball player and a graduate of Braintree High School. She was a three-sport athlete—soccer, basketball, and lacrosse—and served as a senior captain in both soccer and lacrosse. She went on to play Division I club lacrosse at the University of Rhode Island, where she was a defender and two-year captain. Emma earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sports Media & Communication.

She now works full-time for the Town of Braintree’s Recreation Department as an Office Clerk and Program Specialist. This past fall, Emma completed her first season coaching JV Girls Soccer at Archbishop Williams High School. This winter, she will serve as the JV coach and assistant varsity coach for Canton High School Girls Basketball, as well as the Director of Braintree Youth Basketball’s prep league.

Emma is passionate about giving back to her community and creating meaningful experiences and opportunities for today’s youth. She is excited to join the Behn Hurricanes and play a larger role in helping young athletes grow—both on and off the court.

Lauren Hanley

Lauren Hanley is a former standout point guard. A Fontbonne Academy graduate, she helped lead her team to the 2003 Mass Championship Finals. From 2003–2007, Lauren played at Suffolk University, where she served as team captain during the 2006–07 season and left as the program’s all-time leader in steals while ranking in the top 10 in four additional career categories.
After her playing career, Lauren transitioned into coaching, working with multiple local youth programs, the MassDucks AAU organization, and serving as a JV assistant coach at the high school level. She brings college-level experience and a player-centered approach to every practice and game.
Lauren is passionate about helping young athletes build confidence, basketball IQ, and a love for the game.

Laurenco DaSilva

Coach Lourenco Dasilva is a 4-year veteran with Behn Basketball. A captain and First Team All-State at Shea High School in Pawtucket, RI. Where he helped lead the team to a 1995 state championship. Played College basketball at CCRI where he was First Team all New England, then playing at Worcester State College followed by a quick stint professionally in London, England. Following his playing career, with his passion for helping others, he has coached youth teams locally for the past 20 years.
